How many concrete sacks there are in a garden depends on the size / weight of the sack used.

It doesn’t matter if you use Quikrete, Sakrete, or any other brand. The amount you will need depends on the size of the bag you are buying.

How many bags of concrete in a yard?I use 60 pound bags of concrete to fix the concrete on this job.

How much concrete do you need?

A few bags of concrete are required for one cubic meter. The number of bags you need will depend on the type of concrete mix you choose for your project.

  1. If you are using 40 pound bags of concrete, it will take 90 bags to build a meter
  2. If you are using 50 pound sacks of concrete, it will take 72 sacks to build one yard.
  3. If you are using 60 pound bags of concrete, it will take 60 bags to build one yard.
  4. If you are using 80 pound bags of concrete, it will take 45 bags to build one yard.

How many 80 pound bags of concrete are in a garden?

You need 45 bags of concrete mix to make one cubic meter of concrete.

An 80 lb sack of concrete mix makes approximately 0.70 cubic feet (17 liters)

One cubic meter is 27 cubic feet of concrete. If you divide 27 by .60 you get 45 sachets.

How many square meters of concrete is an 80 lbs sack enough?

It depends on your thickness.

  • At 2 inches thick, an 80-pound bag of concrete will fill 3.6 square feet
  • At 4 “thick, an 80-pound bag of concrete will fill 1.8 square feet
  • @ 6 “thick an 80 lb sack of concrete fills 1.2 square feet

How many 60 pound bags of concrete make a garden?

  • At 6 inches thick, a 60 pound bag of concrete will fill 0.90 square feet

How much water do I need per bag?

The amount of mixing water you need per bag of concrete depends on the brand of concrete used and the size of the bag.

Always check the manufacturer’s recommendations for mixing water on the back of the bag.
